I’m a film development executive and script consultant.

I specialise in international co-productions and help assess projects on their potential for local and international markets in the light of changing audience trends. I speak and I’m able to work in several European languages.

In 2022 I formed a drama development company, Black Island Media. We’re currently developing film projects with UK and international partners.

I was a story analyst for Universal Pictures and Focus Features for ten years, where I reported directly to the VP of International Production, when she struck a deal with Cattleya in Rome – helping it become one of the true European production powerhouses it is today. I looked after Universal/FocusFeatures  Italian slate until 2019.

I have an M.A. in Film Screenwriting (distinction) and a BA/Hons in Drama/Theatre Studies, from Royal Holloway, University of London. I was selected for the Feature Film Workshop at the National Film and Television School, and for the Curtis Brown inaugural ‘Write an Original TV Drama Series’ with Colin Teevan (Das Boot, Rebellion, Resistance). I’m also an alumna of the highly regarded Faber and Faber six month ‘Writing a Novel’ course.
